It is with a heavy heart that I share the sad news of Shawn Thomas's passing. Shawn was a long-standing member of LAMSL and a friend to both my father and me.
Shawn's loss is especially hard. He participated in many of our seasons and tournaments, always bringing joy and fun to his teams. He never hesitated to help out whenever we needed assistance. I also deeply appreciated the respect he always showed my father, especially making it a point to speak with him in Spanish.
I am still in disbelief but want to assure everyone that Shawn will always be remembered in our league as one of its brightest and best players. He will truly be missed.
My sincere condolences go out to Tawnee and his children, Karter, Krue, and Journee. As always, let's come together as a LAMSL family and help in any way we can to assist them during this difficult time. Go Fund Me.
2025 USA AKA ASA Banned Bat List
MANDATORY MANAGERS MEETING FOR UPCOMING REGULAR SEASON: FRIDAY April 25th. @ 730 P.M.
2025 Regular Season to Begin March 23rd.
Early Registration - $550.00 Due no later than Feb15th. No Exceptions!
Regular Registration - $650.00
Game Day Fees - $110.00
Please relay to your players: Effective immedaitely there will be a zero tolerance for inapropriate or unsportsman like conduct at Los Nietos fields. We have been placed on probation and the city will take the fields from us if any behavior violating their policies is reported. NO ALCOHOL IN THE DUGOUTS OR STANDS. Any violation will be cause for immediate fines, forfeits and possible removal from the season. Umpires have been instructed to stop all games if players begin to show any aggressive behavior that could lead to a confrontation. WINTER LEAGUE REGISTRATION IS DUE BY OPENING DAY 10/27/24
